What if something as small as a shaka could remind people to spread a little more aloha?

Around here, a shaka can mean almost anything—howzit, mahalo, shoots, you got this, take care.

It doesn't require an introduction. Sometimes you don't even have to know the person you're throwing it to.

That's what makes it special.

Throw Shaka Co. was created to carry that feeling into everyday life through designs, apparel, stickers, collaborations, and little reminders that kindness and connection still matter.

Our goal isn't just to create things you can stick, wear, or drive around with.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Aloha, I’m Leanelle—the creator and designer behind Throw Shaka Co.

I was born and raised on Oʻahu, where the shaka has always been a natural part of everyday life. You throw one when someone lets you merge into traffic, when you see someone you know, when somebody helps you out, or sometimes for no reason other than spreading a little good energy.

I created Throw Shaka Co. because I wanted to take something so simple and familiar and turn it into a brand with a bigger purpose—one that celebrates Hawaiʻi, creativity, community, and connection.

Every design starts with that same idea:
